A little city in TX has created a best monument -- the world's largest knife.
The city of Bowie, Texas, which -- just like the knife -- was named after Alamo defender jim bowie, unveiled the 20-foot-long, 3,000-pound, stainless-steel knife on Thursday.
"For Bowie, we tend to hope to urge folks off of the highway and into town," Diana Thomlinson, executive of the bowie Chamber of Commerce, told KFDX three. "We need them to pay their cash after all, however we want them to examine there's such a lot to try to to and see in bowie.
Thomlinson additionally aforementioned that the knife was funded using personal funds. it'll be dedicated to bowie during a ceremony in June, with plans to submit it for thought in the Guinness World Records.
"It will be a record," she said. "We're aiming to have [officials for Guinness World Records] at our dedication ceremony."
